Follow these 5 Simple Exercises To Strengthen Your Eyes Muscles And Improve Your Eye Vision Naturally And Quickly

In the last years, the number of people who wear glasses or contact lenses has been increased very much. And its mostly due to the increase of computer usage, and television watching. Problems like Shortsightedness and nearsightedness shows up more often these days.Which sounds like good news for opticians around the world – bad news for us, but it doesn't need to be that way ! Using these simple exercises, it could save you from future Sight Problems and eye related problems(shortsightedness-nearsightedness-myopia-hyperopia-ShortSighted)

Our eyes need regular exercise in order to keep them healthy, just like any other muscle in the body.

1.Eye Blinking


Blinking is a simple way to keep your eyes fresh and have the ability to focus on longer distances. Computer users / television watchers tend to blink less because of constant focusing on objects on the monitor. Try it now as a simple exercise and you'll notice the change. For the next two minutes blink every 3 – 4 seconds. After you have done this for two minutes, take note of how your eyes feel, are they strained, relaxed, or tired?. Now try not to blink for 30 seconds at a time for the next two minutes. Do you feel the difference?

Blinking gives your eyes a new fresh start, as they are discharged from previous information and ready to take on the new one, it helps to reduce eye strain and freshen your mind.


2.Palming Your Eyes


  • Take few deep breathes before you begin.



  • Make yourself comfortable while leaning forward on a table/desk with your elbows and resting on your knees. Close your eyes gently.



  • Place the two of your hands over your eyes with the cup of your palm covering your eyes gently, your fingers placed on your forehead, and the heel of your hand will rest over your cheeks. Make sure you can blink and do not over pressure on your eyes.


And That is it !. This process(palming)gives you the chance to rest both your mind and your eyes for few minutes at a time. It may not look like a real exercise, but it can make a difference in your day if you take a break and do these exercises.

3.Figure of eight(8)

Imagine a big figure of eight(8) about 10 feet in front of you. Now turn the 8 figure on it’s side. Now trace the figure of eight(8) with your eyes slowly. Do this one for  few minutes and then switch to the other way. It may seem very strange at first but it’s worth persevering with it.

4.Focusing on Near/Far Objects


Sit in a comfortable position, or take a stand, just be comfortable, this will only take 2-3 minutes at a time.
Put your (right-left)thumb about 10 inches in front of you and focus on it.
Now focus on something else about 10 – 20 feet in front of you.
On each deep breath switch between focusing on your thumb and the 10-20 feet object in front of you.
This will strengthen your eye muscles with time and it will improve your vision overall !.

5.Zooming


  • Sit in a comfortable position(just try to be comfortable :) )
  • Stretch out your arm with your thumb in the hitchhike position
  • Focus on the thumb as your arm is outstretched.
  • Now bring your thumb closer to you, focusing on it at all the time, until your thumb is about 3 inches in front of your nose.
  • Now move back your thumb away again until your arm is fully outstretched.

Do this for a few minutes at a time through the day and that's it.


These exercises will strengthen your focusing skills and your eye muscles in general, but remember, results Won't show up unless you do this on a daily basis :) i wish you good luck and good vision !.

our distance vision is deficient if you see the O sharper or blacker, either in the red or the green color.

Generally, if you see the "O" blacker or sharper in the red part, you probably have myopia.

Conversely, if you see the "O" blacker or sharper in the green part, you are definitely hyperopia.

Rebuild Your Eyes
Alot of us these days are having problems with their eyes or are having shortsightedness problems, and the majority of those people, and to me as well, its all due to starring at a monitor/tv 8 hours a day, problems like short sighted vision or nearsighted and myopia have grown in the last years. A relative of mine had a short sighted -0.75 vision or what's called nearsighted/myopia, and the following exercises helped him improve his shortsighted problem and improved his eye sight using the same exercises i am about to show you.
As we all know, it is important to keep our bodies in shape by doing certain exercises like jogging, swimming, going to the gym, etc... 
But did you know that you can exercise your eyes as well? making them more accurate and not having a short sighted problems. These eye exercises will definitely keep your eyes as healthy as possible and minimize eyestrain or short vision problems.
Note that these exercises are meant to maintain your eyesight level as it is now, but regular exercising will help them improve slightly, These exercises they will not improve your eyesight immediately, but they will definitely prevent you from any future vision problems or vision deterioration.

Before we start, here are somethings You'll need to do the exercises :


  1. Pencil
  2. Water
  3. Eye drops (your eyes may become dry)
  4. 15 minutes of your time

The Steps : 

1:  Sit on a chair in a comfortable position. Start rubbing your hands together until you start feeling them getting warmer. Close your eyes and after that cover them gently with your palms and making sure that no light rays are entering your eyes, note that your nose should not be covered by your palms. Now Imagine your self in a deep blackness and focus on it. Take a deep breath slowly and evenly while thinking of a happy event you went through, or visualize a scene that is distant. After you can see nothing but blackness only, then remove your palms out of your eyes. Repeat the process for 3 minutes or more.

2 :  Close your eyes tightly for a 3 to 5 seconds. And open them again for 3 to 5 seconds. Repeat the process for 7 or 8 times.

3:  Hot and Cold Compress : Get your hand on 2 clean towels, and soak the first one in hot water, and the second one in a cold water. Take the warm towel and press it to your face gently focusing on the eyebrows, your closed eyelids, and cheeks, change to the cold one and repeat the process, make sure you end with the cold towel
Full face massage, Take the hot soaked towel and rub your neck, cheeks, and forehead with that towel, avoiding your eyes, after that use your fingertips to massage your forehead and closed eyes gently.
Eyelid massage : Close your eyes and get them massaged with circular movements from your fingers for like a 2 to 3 minutes. Be sure to press very gently and made sure you washed your hand to avoid damaging them.

4:  Press three fingers of each of your hands against your upper eyelids very gently, and hold them there for 1 to 2 seconds, then release. Repeat the process 5 times at least.

5:  Sit and relax. Start rolling your eyes clockwise motion, then after that counter-clockwise. Repeat the process 5 times, while blinking in between each time.

6:  Focus on distant objects (over 160 feet or 60m away from you) for like 10 to 15 seconds. Then after that, refocus your eyes slowly on an object near you (less than 40 feet or 20m away from you) without moving your head at all. Repeat again for 10 to 15 seconds, and go back to the that distant object. Do this at least 5 times.
Try sitting about 6 inches (15 cm) from a window. Make a mark on the glass (ideally a small red or black sticker) at eye-level. Look through this mark and focus on something far away, then adjust your focus to the mark.

7:  Hold an object (pencil preferably)in front of your eyes (Make sure the pencil is between your eyes or laying at your nose in a short sight range) at arm's length. Start moving your arm away from your nose slowly. Follow the object with your eyes continuously until you can't keep it in focus. Repeat the process 10 times.

8:  Look in front of you(or at the wall) and pretend that you are writing something on the wall with your eyes. Don't move your head at all. This may seem very difficult at first try, but with a bit of practice and patience it is really fun. The bigger the letters are , the better the effect will be.

9:  Practice rhythmic movements.
Do some bar Swings: Make sure to stand in front of a barred window, or a fence, or something with even spaced vertical lines. Focus smoothly on the distant object on the other side of the bars. Relax your body and try to transfer your weight from one foot to another. Make sure to keep your breathing steady and relaxed. Blink if needed while performing this exercise. Continue doing it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Round Swings: Try to focus on an object in your eyesight that is close to the ground. Do the same as instructed for Bar Swings. Keeping your gaze on the same object, and use your peripheral vision to see what's surrounding you as you sway. Continue doing it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Head Movements: Close one eye(start with right eye). Slowly form a 8 figure with your head. Repeat this for the other eye. Continue doing it for 2 to 3 minutes.

10:  Now imagine that you are standing in front of a very large clock. Take a look at the middle of that clock. Then look at any chosen hour mark, without turning your head sideways. Then look back at the center of that clock. Then again look at another hour mark of that clock. Do this process at least 12 times a day. You can do this exercise with your eyes closed if you feel like.

11:  Focus on an object in a large distance (it must be as far as possible and not in a shortsighted range) with a  very low contrasting background. Do this for 3 to 5 minutes every half hour or 40 minutes.

12:  Move your eyes up and down, starting from the top and going down. Do this process for 8 times. Then the side to side eye movements after, starting from left to the right. Repeat the process for 8 times at least. Make sure not to force your eyes away than they want to go in any particular direction, or you might risk making your vision even worse.

13:  Always finish up the exercises with either palming your eyes or another eye relaxation technique.
